NOTE: My “Pro-” means “Proponent of &/or for” & my “Opp-” means “In opposition of”
Pro- historically, & intentionally, monogamous, contractually & legally binding “partnerships” between two persons, also known as, in effect, marriages, to symbolize “Love” existent: by, between, &/or from two persons regardless of the persons’ gender (Note: Polyamory is, for me, was terrible)
Pro- Faithful Representation as being a required part of ideal human communication. (There are three characteristics of faithful representation: 1. Completeness [adequate or full disclosure of all necessary information], 2. Neutrality [fairness and freedom from bias], and 3. Freedom from error [no inaccuracies and omissions].)
Pro- Contract &/or tort law
Pro- Marriage before child rearing (& child rearing as being not the ultimate purpose for every person)
Pro- Democracy
(RE: Democracy vs. any other method of legitimization of governmental/political power)
Opp- Theocracy
Pro- Natural Sciences (1. hard sciences, 2. social sciences [in order of worth, from greatest to least, as models for understanding the natural world])
Pro- Natural Rights Education (John Locke vs. Thomas Hobbes)
Pro- Raising the Age of Adulthood — It should be raised to the age of 25, as that is the age at which a human brain has reached full maturation. All persons under 25 years of age, should be considered adolescents (socially & legally)
Opp- Recreational drug use by adolescents
Pro- Professional psychiatric mental health care as a means to protect, prevent, &/or detect mental illness
Pro- Legal protections & restrictions afforded by & imposed upon persons deemed to be of “adolescent” mind
Opp- Rape (e.g. statutory rape, & sex or molestation of a verbally non-consenting party, or of a party who is incapable of explicitly giving either volitional, linguistic consent or volitional, linguistic non-consent & that is, at the same time, free from duress).
Pro- Medicinal drug usages & recreational drug usages, when done responsibly, by adults.
